These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, applications, and services operated by Absurditi LLC ("Absurditi," "we," "us," or "our"), including https://absurditimatter.com (collectively, the "Services"). Please read them carefully.
Effective date: October 30, 2026. Last updated: October 30, 2026. By creating an account, you affirmatively agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. By otherwise accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookie notice. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
You must meet the age requirement displayed during account registration. To purchase products, you must be the age of majority in your jurisdiction or have permission from a parent or legal guardian. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Accounts and security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
- Provide accurate, current information and keep it updated. Notify us promptly at support@absurditimatter.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, pose security risks, or remain unverified where verification is required.
- Staff and internal tools use separate authentication; you must not attempt to access employee-only areas without authorization.
3. Purchases and orders
When commerce features are available, product descriptions, pricing, availability, and shipping terms will be presented at checkout. By placing an order, you offer to purchase the items subject to acceptance by us. We may refuse or cancel orders (for example, due to errors, suspected fraud, or inventory limits). Payment is processed by our payment partners; additional payment terms may apply at checkout.
Shipping availability, charges, and estimates are governed by our Shipping policy. Return eligibility is governed by our Returns policy and the policy frozen on the relevant product/order at purchase. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the carrier unless otherwise stated.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate any law or third-party rights, including intellectual property and privacy rights;
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services or circumvent security or access controls;
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated means except as permitted by robots.txt or our written permission;
- Interfere with the operation of the Services or impose unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with Absurditi;
- Upload malware or harmful code, or use the Services to send spam or unsolicited communications.
We may investigate violations and cooperate with law enforcement. We may remove content or restrict access at our discretion.
5. Intellectual property
The Services, including design, text, graphics, logos, product imagery, software, and the Absurditi name and marks, are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Except as expressly allowed, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent.
Limited personal, non-commercial viewing and sharing of public pages is permitted. Any research archive or technical documentation may carry additional license terms where stated on the page.
6. Feedback
If you send ideas, suggestions, or feedback, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use them without obligation to you. Do not send confidential or proprietary information unless we agree in writing.
7. Third-party services
The Services may integrate with or link to third-party services (payment, shipping, analytics if enabled). Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT CONTENT IS ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers; in those cases, disclaimers apply to the fullest extent permitted.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ABSURDITI LLC, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE RELEVANT ORDER IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights in the EEA, UK, or other jurisdictions.
10. Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Absurditi LLC and its affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Services, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
11. Dispute resolution (United States)
Informal resolution: Before filing a claim, contact support@absurditimatter.com and allow at least 30 days to resolve the dispute informally.
Governing law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your state or country apply.
Arbitration: Except for small-claims court matters and claims for injunctive relief relating to intellectual property or unauthorized access, disputes arising from these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding individual arbitration under the American Arbitration Association Consumer Arbitration Rules. You and we waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative action.
Opt-out: You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing support@absurditimatter.com with subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out," your name, and the email associated with your account.
If you are a consumer in the EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction where mandatory law prohibits arbitration or class-action waivers, those provisions do not apply to you; you may bring claims in your local courts under applicable consumer law.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Provisions that by nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, dispute resolution, indemnity) survive termination.
13. Export and sanctions
You may not use the Services in violation of U.S. export controls or economic sanctions. You represent that you are not located in, or a national of, a country subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions.
14. Changes
We may modify these Terms. We will post updates on this page and adjust the effective date. Material changes may require additional notice or acceptance where required by law. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, except where prohibited.
